Default 1980 C3 Air Conditioning

The Air Conditioning works on my C3 Corvette and blows very cold air, but there is a constant clicking noise ONLY when the A/C compressor is running. If I go to Heat or VENT the compressor shuts off and the blower works fine. The only other thing is when the A/C is on, the blower does not work on "High" with A/C set to MAX. But again, When the A/C is switched to "Normal" the fan blower works in 1-2-3 speed but not speed 4 (high). I image the blower issue may be either a blower resistor or a control switch but the constant A/C compressor clicking noise is loud and definitely NOT normal. And advice is appreciated.

You probably should ask a moderator to move this to the C3 section of the Forum
