If using Amsoil 5w-30 really better than using Mobil One 5w-30 for AutoX/Roadrace use? I've heard acusations stating that this change can net 20 degree oil temp differences, and heard the oil lasts twice as long.

I never used it but I doubt any temperature difference would be seen. Twice as long all hype too. If it was 20 degrees cooler all race cars would use it.
