i think theres 'good' stuff your front crossbar for head protection.. but the cheap padding for door bars can be bought any where.. check off road shops.. they usuall carry a lot for dune buggies.
I got mine at Ramchargers. 3' sections are cheap, and available in various colors. It's the full-surround type, with the split down the middle to push it on. I think it's for 1.75" dia tubing and bigger though, I had to trim out a section to get it to work with my 1.5" tubing.
Summit and Jeg's also carry padding, and they have the half surround style as well.
Roll bar padding is just heat/AC pipe insulation. You will have to check around to find the glossy black color instead of the flat black color-Last time I got glossy it was from Home Depot
:nono: come on now, real roll bar padding is thicker on one side than the side with the slit. And you don't use wire ties to hold it on you use 3M yellow.
Any race supply shop will have about 10 colors.

Remind me never to ride in your car without a helmet, as this couldn't be further from the truth. If you're going to use this stuff, you might as well not use anything at all.
If you want actual protection, order the BSCI padding from http://www.bsrproducts.com/. It's about $17 for a 3 foot piece. Never skimp on safety equipment.
Roll bar padding is not a/c/ line insulation, A racing pad is thincker where you need it and will absorb an impact far better, also the high density padding used by most racers is fire resistant, will not drip under extreme heat. the std. cheap padding if heated will melt and drip ( I am sure we have all hade some plastic melted to our skin) but will also burn. Can you say, skin graph?
