Wondered if anybody know what a nationally compeditive SM2 Corvette might look like (mods and such). I'm a long way from that point, as I am just going to be picking up the 94 tomorrow, but would like to know what I'd be looking at mods wise when I have the time and money.
Engine has a good amount of mods, but really lacking in the suspension department, that will be the first area I work on.

Re: SM2 Corvette Prep (rsafier)
I was going to have you read the recent thread on BSP cars, since most of the current SM2 Corvettes are cars that got bumped into it from bsp, but I see you've already read that thread, your the one that started it! :) http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=767468
It's a good place to start.
Engine & drivetrain are FREE.
Suspension?
"No new holes", so you can go pretty ballistic.
You can run solid mounts in the diff.
You can remove the stock "washers" for aligning the car, as a matter of fact you can make your own a-arms.
For the back, I'd invest in rodend replacements for certain suspension components.
You can put monster brakes on it, but for autocrossing, it's not worth it. Wieght savings though is. ie) two peice rotors.
