Default Post event cleaning.

Made the mistake of not cleaning my car, mainly the wheels after this last time trial event and now I have some nasty stains on them from the hawks. What do you guys use to help keep this from happening if at all possible and what to use to bring them back to normal? I know this should proabably be in the cleaning section, but I posted it hear because most ppl there don't drive there car in the rain much less put it through what we do. Any suggestions?

Default You poor guy!

I feel for you. I used Hawk Blues and got rained on driving home and I did not clean the wheels until a day later. The dust cemented to the rims and car body. I heard that CLR cleaner will work to get the metal gunk off. So I went and got some from the grocery store. I think it is a fairly common product. Well I used a full bottle and six hours later my four wheels were back to normal. Still had to wax them. Then it took me some time to clean the car. Horrible problem that will never happen again.

Good luck buddy.
