'65 black big block
1965 roadster. The car looks like an original 396/425hp car with correct high horse tach,80lb oil pressure gauge, big block hood, sway bar, driver side battery mount, big block rear end and big block radiator. However the tach and oil gauge appear to be newer than the other gauges. The radiator is not the correct '65 big block aluminum but rather a later copper type. The core support is in correct. There is no sign of TI ignition. The big block rear is from a '69.There is no documentation.Since there are signs that this car was a small block as well I will call it a clone. The trim tag shows white/black.The car is now black/black.The paint, top and chrome are very nice. The interior could use new seat covers as well as the console and glove box restored to match to the exterior condition. The motor is a completly rebuilt 1969 casting number 396 with square port heads. The car does have the correct "963" intake and "3124" service dated carb as well as a new repop set of exhaust manifolds and repop black air cleaner. The under hod is deatailed nicely. The brakes and suspension are new and the frame is spotless and painted black. The car though not originally a side exhaust car does have it now.It also has a new set of knockoff wheels with a set of redline bias ply tires. The car runs and drives very well.I will post some pictures as soon as it stops raining here.$60K

Mike,
The 396 car that Tom and Dennis are kidding me about is not for sale and they both know it.Besides it is buried in the corner of the garage. The car that I had listed here sold in a day.It was a very nice looking and running car that may or may not have been a real 396/425hp car thus a clone.I may have some pictures of it here.It really looked great with a slick black paint job with side exhausts and a new set of knock offs with redline tires. As I said it only took one day.Nice cars priced right as always sell quickly.
