F/S 1962 Red/Red
Selling one of the 62s to make room in my small garage. There are a couple of photos in My Corvette Garage. Others available by email redbird1973@hotmail.com
The ownership (three owners back) has been traced back to the early 80s. I have tried to get as stock as possible since owning 6 years.
1962 Corvette born May 8, 1962 per NCRS verification, two top car, 250hp/327ci, rebuilt 4-speed w/Hurst shifter-old linkage tossed, new clutch disk/pressure plate/ throwout bearing, rebuilt 3.55 corvette posi, engine was rebuilt and block decked in early 80's (have name & phone number of shop) , cast date on block and heads are correct, rebuilt front suspension with Paragon kit, new brakes & wheel cylinders, resleeved master cylinder (022)-DOT-5 in system, new DeWitts dated radiator, all hoses changed w/repro, rebuilt 609 water pump, new dated expansion tank, new stock oval mufflers (CC), starter/generator rebuilt, correct dated distributor, rear bumpers rechromed, front chrome very good-some items replaced, new front and rear light assemblies, repro jack and tools, original trunk board, new air shocks in rear, new carpet & added insulation from firewall up to behind seats, all dated glass, AM-Wonderbar radio works, red wheels (15x5) with dog dish/full size caps come with car. Car was repainted w/lacquer three owners back. Top/trunk lid repainted BC/CC, all gauges & lights work, clock & horns rebuilt. I would rate paint 8-10. Third owner back had motor rebuilt and motor was decked. Runs good and does not smoke. About the only thing That I can't get working is the windshield washer. The on on my other 62 just started working out of the blue after 20+ years. As far as I can tell mileage that just turned 88523 is original. Paperwork in hand indicates 85300 miles in 1982. I have not driven it 1000 miles since I have owned. Most trips have been local area 50 mile radius. Have all receipts since I have owned. Inspections welcomed. $58,000 takes it. Call and leave message (956)412-8761 John

I have nothing involved in this sale, but I have seen this car and it would worth your time to look at it. If nothing else bring your golf clubs. Its warm down here.

Thanks for the endorsement. Sorry I can't make the Georgetown car show at Sun City next weekend. I have been there three times and it is one well run show!
