Thanks for the offers. Although rarely, also Inca Silver/ Red would be an option.

Thanks,
Matthias

2022 C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified

I am considering selling my black/silver cover, red interior 57 that I have personally owned for almost 20 years. It is currently in storage in Arizona and has not been driven for a couple of years, but it will start right up and drives well. Currently has 327 solid lifter with dual quads and 4-speed.
If you want a show car with a claimed original engine, you don't want this car. If you want a good driver 57 in the colors you desire at the low end of the price spectrum, you might be interested. For now, I will price it at $57k with hardtop included. PM me if interested.
These are old pictures, first picture was taken when I first got the car back in late 90's. Other pictures are probably 5 years old or more. I am tight on storage space and have my eyes on some other cars to acquire.
Jim

Mathias, JRM's '57 above looks like a pretty good deal to me.

It doesn't even appear to leak!

Todd,
I can assure you that it does leak, mainly through the cowl vent seal that is brittle!!!

I know, I know, but then you start chasing all of the little stuff, and next thing you know, you are in the middle of a frame off restoration. It hasn't leaked one drop of rain since it has been in Arizona!!!

Default WTB 57 or 56

I certainly do not intend to step on a brother's ad by any means (Matthias in this case), but I am also looking for a good driver condition' 57 or '56 car, so if this intrusion into the original post offends anyone, I'll start my own thread.
Briefly, what I want: numbers matching/originality is not as important as condition. Can't handle body or frame issues, must have manual transmission, must be complete (gauges, interior, top, glass) even it's not presently running, as close as possible to Denver.
Email me at <landeira@colorado.edu> with information, especially location, price and pics. I will respond to all contacts.
TIA
Ric
