Looking to Replace my Stolen C2
I had a former top flight, black 1967 roadster that was stolen 2 years ago in broad daylight. It was a beautiful black car - it took me two years to find it. I didnt get any counseling, but probably should have! (I went and bought a new c7 to help me recover ).
I watch the forum here regularly as well as most of the ads on the internet. Hoping some of you might know of a car within your network.
While a '67 is preferred, I'm open to other years. Main thing is a strong running, very well kept car in top shape. I'm not looking to show the car, looking to drive and enjoy it with my family.
Here is the list:
* Leaning towards a resto mod. But would also consider a numbers car. Small block 327/350 hp for a numbers car, big block for a resto mod.
* Convertible preferred.
* Exterior color (in order of preference) - black, red, maroon, white
* Interior color - Black
* Side pipes
* Frame off restoration
* Cost - no specific limit, car just needs to be priced right for its condition.
* Manual transmission
* Looking for a car that has been 'loved.' I have three boys and want to have three cars that we can keep in the family when I'm gone someday. Looking for a car that has lasting power so to speak.
OK, there it is. I sure do appreciate any help you can provide.

My '57 Bel-Air two door hardtop was stolen in 2015 so I can relate. I still miss that car. They tried to get my Corvette too but I guess they couldn't get it started because of a dead battery. Good luck with finding a replacement.

Sorry to hear that someone stole your Corvette.
Unfortunately, I know how you feel as our '62 was stolen in 2013. We did get it back.
Wish you could find your '67!
You should provide a VIN number, and anything else specific to the car that could help others identify it.
It was due to this forum (through social media), that our car was recovered.
Best of luck to you with your new search.
