Default 1966 Corvette Convertible

(SOLD) I have decided to sell my 66. It had been off the road from 1990 until 2016 having had two owners during that period in time. I bought the car running, driving, but in need of finishing and lot of tweeking. I finished the car and have put 560 miles on it to sort it out. The current original mileage is at 37,876.
The engine is the original 327/350 with its born with transmission and 370 posi rear. The car has gone through a total frame off with everything, and I do mean everything, rebuilt or replaced. The frame has been powder coated and a rust inhibiting coating installed inside the frame. All gauges, radio, and clock have also been rebuilt.
This car is optioned with both tops, PS, PB, telescoping column, teak wheel, AM-FM, head rest, tinted glass, day night mirror, and V74 hazard flasher. It is a fantastic Vette and one would be hard pressed to fine one nicer. Now for what you all have been waiting for the price. $75,000

Do you have ANY paperwork, docs for the car?
How far back do you know history of car?
Did you have car painted OR was it already done when you bought it?
Really sharp car AND color combo!!!
Thanks,Rick

I have a copy of a 1989 Maryland title that shows 36,011 miles, and the shipping report that shows the car was sold at Bill Rutland Chevrolet in Indianapolis. The car was painted before I got it.

Can you tell us which of the options are factory and which were added later (and who added them)? Can you post some pics of the car itslef (exterior and interior), frame, Z bar, VIN and Trim plates and birdcage prior to the restoration and pics of the restorations process? Also a pic of the engine stamp with VIN and current pics of the VIN and Trim plates?

Great looking car! I am learning about and looking at C2's now and if I can find a buyer for my '82 CE would like to go back to a more classic era (my high school years). One question, is the Master Cylinder original or an upgrade? Most I see do not have a vacuum booster or dual reservoirs. Thanks in advance for answering my question. Good luck with the sale too.

I don't know if this will help but I have a 1965 327 350 and it came with factory power brakes and my car has the same master cylinder and vacuum booster as the car in the post. The side pipes are not original to this car because it is an AO Smith body and none of the AO Smith cars had side pipes. It looks like a nice car.

Only 65 and 66 with power brakes had those master cylinders, they're very expensive now. ($1100 or so)

It IS rare to see a restored car without them.

Yes it is still available, but a lot of interest has been generated lately. Must be the spring weather.
