67 427 vert older frame off for sale.
1967 marina blue/blue convertible, side pipes, hardtop/softtop. Frame off completed 2007, 500 miles since then. This is NOT a matching numbers car. I have partial tank sticker that indicates it was originally a 435hp car( no trips now), marina blue/black, black stinger, factory hardtop only( i have softtop frame as well as original hardtop),am/fm, 355 rear, clratio 4sp,side pipe exhaust.
While the frame off was a professional restoration, the car now has blue interior, a tremac five speed, centerforce clutch, 410 rear, red line tires, i pod plus stereo.. The engine is a 3904531 Hi PErf casting(67) built with 435 hp internals but has 4bbl. Hi rpm original tach and gauges not removed for restoration. Restored as a high level driver and it is an excellent one. Smooth, no rattles, corners well and cruises on the highway in 5th gear. i have some spares including most of the original interior. The car was reissued a new serial number when it was a theft recovery in the 1980s, i have the police report and verification that the car is now properly titled and registered. NOt a salvage car, not a reconstructed car, just not the documentation that makes it a high priced car. Please respect it for what it is.
Asking price is a very reasonable $68,000. Located in the Phila. pa area. can i include my phone? 215 313 9409. Brad

car is sold
Thanks to all who advised, criticized and encouraged me through the process of selling this car. Especially bowtyeguy who actually came to
inspect it. As he suggested the car was worth between 55 and 60 and i sold it on the upper end of that to a very knowledgeable corvette guy. As much as i will miss it , i know its going to the right owner. I had it on ebay for four days and the bidding was fast and furious, dont be afraid to sell this way even though i ended the bidding early for the right buyer. Many thanks, Brad
