Good luck with the sale, nice job on the pictures.

Always love to see another Daytona Blue!

Default Where in Alaska

Again, I love the car. Do you have the ability to email the restoration/restomoding receipts? Do you ever travel, with the car, to the lower 48? I recently purchased a drive quality 63 SWC but would be open to selling it in a heartbeat to acquire yours. I am cash poor at the moment and probably have champagne dreams on a beer budget; but, who knows. Noting ventured, nothing gained. I am serious ( at least as much as I can be at 70) (lol)

Please feel to PM me. I have made prior inquiries.

Right. I knew that Alaska was really "North" of my location! Now I know the Vette is really located in some remote crater on the moon! (lol)

Default Cold North

hey Harrold;

Sure enjoyed our conversation today. I wish I could just cancel the vacation and come up to see the vette. Of course, I would lose a long term investment ( my wife of 44 years) but might gain a gorgeous 63 SWC. I really need to weigh the pros and cons (right!!!, some divorce that would be).

Upon my return, it is my present intention to take you up on the Moose hunting expedition, with a little Salmon and Halibut fishing as side entertainments! Really, I want to come up and see how the bears, beavers and eagles get along other than on a football field!

Send pics and info when able and I'll let you know my scheduling!

Stay warm and away from the larger critters.

Thanks for the information. Is standox the name brand of the paint. The 916A is Daytona blue but is that the actual paint code formula that the manufacturer uses. Can you please tell me who you bought the paint from.

hi jay, I hired a professional shop, (metal Creek autobody) to do the body work and painting. The paint they used was standox, and "they" decoded the paint. I think you can look up a paint company, and can use the numbers to get the formula. I can do a lot of things, but paint and bodywork I leave to the pros! hb

Hey Harrold;

I am back and sent you a message. I am going to try to make airline reservations after the Super Bowl to fly up to see the Vette. Just need to know that it is still available. Sure understand if you've sold it or taken a deposit since it's such a beautiful car. I just don't want to pay for an expensive R/T ticket if it's sold or committed to someone else.

For someone wanting to get into a SWC that is done and ready to go, this looks like a nice car, and reasonable price. A lot of work went into this to get it looking this great!

GLWS.
