This Corvette has been in my family since the early ‘70’s. My father, a body man all his life, fully restored it in 2006-07. Body off frame, powder coated the frame, as well. Available to inspect and test drive in Freeport, IL.
Interior: All gauges work, as does the radio, clock, and power antenna. New carpet, and seat upholstery. ~75,000 original miles. All vents open/close and work great (including the fan in the back). Dash and glovebox are in great shape. All lights work, and the power headlamps open and close together perfectly. I’m pretty sure the glass is all original.
Original two-speed automatic transmission; I believe my dad had it gone over in 2007, when restoring the car.
Engine is original with all major components; totally overhauled in 2007 as well.
Stainless steel calipers, and it stops just fine. Steering is tight.
No rust on frame; this car has never been driven in snow/rain since 2007 (hadn’t seen snow before that, either).
All headlights, tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals work fine. No electrical issues whatsoever, to my knowledge.
Reproduction knock offs, original steering wheel.
