Ok, I know I am getting old and the old depth perceptation is getting me. Is this car really jacked up with a cement block right under the bumper? I never would think of jacking my car that way, but to each his own?

naaahhh... looks like he has bottle jacks under the frame in the right spots. Don't think a bumper could hold the whole front end... could it?

whew! Thanks for pointing that out.. I don't think the bumper would hold either. Bet he would have one tough time getting the hood to close right.

If you take a good look at the pic I think that is an oil gun not a bottle jack.

Default Jacking

For years I use a piece of 2x6 accross the bumper supports that go to the cross member. First I put a bit of carpet on top of the 2x6.

Default Sorry Ron

I should have made myself clearer. I jack under the crossmember with the 2x6 in place. This way you catch everything! :o
