What do you use....
New C2 owner......what do you use to clean the frame of old grease etc, well enough to repaint....particularly in the engine compartment. I am concerned to some cleaners will leave a residue that will effect the paint.

Aerosol brake and parts cleaner is also useful for getting in hard to reach areas. So far as I can tell, it evaproatres completely and shouldn't leave any resideue that would bother paint. You can wipe down with lacquer thinner or aclohol prior to paint just to make sure.
