headlight bucket
Just completed the paint on the car and realigned the bumpers. Driver side headlight hits when I try to open them. Found out that the bucket lists to one side about ½ an inch when open. Didn’t see any posts on how to align the whole mess, so it sits straight?
The assembly manual is Greek to me. Any help or picture would be appreciated.

Sounds like one of your pivot ***** is corroded/gone to nothing or bolts fell out/missing. The CSM section on the headlite buckets has several good illustrations on the assembly. Did mine (pivot *****) about 25 yrs ago and still in fine shape.

Do your headlight buckets fit properly when closed? Are they "solid" or can you flop them around? If you put your bumpers on too high they could interfere. When viewed from the side are your bumpers parallel to the ground?
