Default Another oil question

I got my first vette last March, a 67 327/350. Since this was a large investment and since I want it to last, nothing was too good for my car. I changed the oil & filter and put in synthetic.

From reading the threads here, apparently diesel oil would have been better. Well now that it is spring (almost) I am thinking of bringing my car from hibernation. It still has the synthetic oil in it.

Can I just empty the oil and change it and the filter or should I do something more?

Assuming you put fresh oil in the engine just prior to winter storage, go ahead and run it for the driving season. If you want to switch to HD diesel engine oil use it for you next pre-storage oil change.
