Default 67 Paint code help/stencil

All,

Sure could use your help. With regard to a 67 big block car, if the car is tuxedo black with a red scoop, what is the paint code for the red ?
Secondly, is there a stencil or something that will properly line up where the red goes on the scoop at paint time..
Thanks in advance,

jerry

Yes, there is a stencil you can buy, or you can decipher the A.I.M. it is in there. There isn't a paint code for the stinger color on the trim plate it is based of your exterior/interior color.

A black car only gets a red stinger if it has either a black or red interior.

If there's no paint code for the red on the stinger, any idea which color in PPG comes the closest to the original?

'67 Rally Red was Ditzler (PPG) #71491 or DuPont #4688-LH.
