Default Car Covers

who makes the best car covers? I am looking for a car cover mostly for when i travel to various events. I am most interested in protection from the rain and elements, one that can be packed tightly as you know space is valuable.
there are a lot of companies out there but who has the best product for a C2.

I purchased a Flannel Car Cover from Corvette America last year and love it but I store my cars inside. I would think based on the quality of this Flannel indoor Corvette cover their outdoor covers would be great. You say you are looking for a cover for when you travel to events. Do you drive your car to events or do you open trailer it? If you open trailer it as you probably already know a cover will do more damage then not having one on the car at all when trailering. If you are looking for something to throw over the car when parked outside a hotel the Flannel Cover won't do the trick if it rains but is very soft and really protects the paint when it is dry. Even when I keep my cars in my building I first use the flannel cover then I use a cheaper all weather cover and put that on top of the flannel cover to keep the flannel cover from getting dirty. You might want to do something like that. You could pick up one of those covers for around $50. Budge car covers makes a nice water repellent Polypropylene car cover but expect to pay around $150 for a quality Flannel cover from Corvette America. A word of advice stay away from the fellow selling fake flannel car covers on Ebay. I purchased one of those and they are not flannel. They are a cheap nylon car cover that could be purchased at K-Mart for under $20. To top it off I never even took it out of the box and the Ebay seller refused to take it back. Ebay did nothing about it but my credit card company did. I was credited the full amount of the cover.

I use Cover Craft Car Covers on both my 2 Corvettes and 2 Camaros. They're pricey but they are the best on the market.
