Knockoff thread question
Why doesn't all of that beating on Knockoff's pull the threads or strip something? Always been my experience if you beat on something long enough and hard enough, you either strip it, pull the threads or snap something off.

Engineers who knew what they were doing? Except for high precision and high reliability stuff like for the bottom end of your engine or satellites, threads do last a long time without any issues. They are big beefy threads, and the stress on them is spread across a large area. Cross thread something, leave the pin in, or let them rust and you will see threads get pretty messed up. Keep them maintained and don't cross thread them and they should last a lifetime.
