I started rebuilding the fuel pump from my '58 yesterday. Once I got it apart, I discovered that it doesn't match the rebuild kit I got from Zip.
Specifically, the kit has six small valves while the pump had too larger. The bearing, pin and lever arm from the kit are all significantly different sizes. The main diaphragm spring from the kit is also significantly larger is diameter than the pump's.
The inside of the pump housing has a casting number of 5621037.
Any ideas what year my pump is from?
Here are the parts as disassembled (and cleaned) from the old pump:
Thanks,

Looks like it might be 40083 (180 degree inlet/outlet port configuration & the bottom cover attached with 2 machine screws). Check for a stamping on the angled mounting flange -- should have 4 or 5 numbers there. If it is 40083, '66 327/350HP is one application.
