Default Odometer problems 67 427

Odometer Problems

I have a 67 427/400 conv. w/ AC. PS. PB. The speedometer jumps/bounces a bit but the odometer has failed all together. Someone told me that if you were to reset the travel odometer while moving, this would hose the odometer? Can't recall doing this but it is possible. What can be done to fix the odometer? The car now has 1921 miles since restoration and i need to keep the car "honest".

Thanks for any help.

I had the same problem and sent my speedo out to Corvette Clocks by Roger. I paid the extra $25.00 to exedite my job and he had it back to be within 7 days (including shipping). Cost is very reasonable; $85.00 labor plus parts which were $90.00. He even bead blasts the face and paints new numbers using a silkscreen process. It looks geat and works perfectly. I highly recommend his work. http://www.corvetteclocks.com
