Missing belt.
I was replacing all the accessory v-belts this weekend and just happened to look at the AIM. I realized that I am missing the belt from the crank shaft to the water pump. This is on a '67 BB, no air, just power steering and the alternator. There is one belt going from the power steering pump to the alternator and one connecting the power steering pump, crank shaft and water pump. I had always assumed the extra rear notches in the pulleys was for another accessory (compressor or air system). I guess I'll be picking one up at the part store but find it funny that it has been running that way for a long time now. I guess no harm was done?
