What do you mean electric conversion??? The motors on 1963-67 are electric. You can get them rebuilds pretty cheap.

Guess I win the dunce award of the week.
My 72 has given me headache after headache, and I know electric conversions are available.
I really thought they were vacuum in 65 also.
Sorry.
I'll tell Pop to get a new motor

Very quick and painless (and funny) site that shows how to rebuild the headlight motors. And it doesn't cost you alot of money
Thanks

I did mine. A very simple job. should take less than 30 minutes
2 Clips hold it together, lift them
GENTLY
separate the housing from the back plate
clean the contacts on the switch lever and the contact points in the housing. A little emery cloth will work well.
lubricate with di-electric grease
re-assemble
install back to dash and connect harness
