Default Trunk Lock

Please Help. I have recently purchaced a C1 but the owner had lost the keys. He says that there are some parts in the trunk but with no keys I can't get in there. I plan on buying a new set of locks and ignition anyway so I was thinking about drilling out the trunk lock but I'm hesitant because I've never done it before. Can you guys give me some tips on doing it. Will I be able to close the trunk after the lock is drilled and if so how would I get it back open again? Is there another way to get it open without calling a locksmith?
Thanks in advance.

C1's use only one key for all five locks (doors, ignition, glove box, trunk) unless Bubba has changed the trunk lock to be different from the others. I'd have a locksmith "pick" the trunk lock before I'd drill it out if it takes a different key now than the other four locks.

I agree with John. These locks are pretty easy to pick and even an apprentice locksmith should be able to open one in a few seconds!

But if I'm going to replace the lock anyway why spend the money for the locksmith?
