Did you buy the Dynomax block huggers and did you connect them to side exhaust. I spoke to their tech and they make a block hugger but they did not know if the side exhaust would lign up to the exhaust pipe going up to the header.
I would be very interested in some photos, that are showing how the headers are connected to the sidepipes. That is to get an idea on how it should look like. I have 2" factory sidepipes on standard exhaust manifolds, and would really like to mount headers.

We have responses from people that use headers with side exhaust but still no pics?
Good luck. I have been asking and it seems people have them but don't see no pics. I am picking up from a friend a hooker block hugger to try on mine. I want to make sure the side exhaust goes up straight to the header so I do not have to do a bunch of turns. I will up date you.
I'll let You know how it works.
Any experience with Block huggers on factory sidepipes, thinking of clearance around the steering box ? Also what part no Hedman pipes has been used for a 350 smallblock ?
Buy economical : Here is a pair af block headers for chevy smallblock, will they fit a 1966 with 350 and original steering box, anyone knows ?
The headers look like they are full run headers. I was looking into the block huggers so the exhaust pipe will go straight up to the flange. Also I am running aluminum heads with angle plugs so they won't work. I was thinking of using Hookers but I heard there is a long lead time. Still waiting for pics also. I guess we will have to do a trial and error process .
I have headers and sidepipes. Not original type sidepipes buy the hookup is the same, I have pics. Did send them to someone on a forum a while ago and he said they helped. Don't know how to post pics. Looks like it changed agian.
I just learned how to post pictures, and this seems to be the easiest way--it takes about 30 seconds:
1--reply to the thread on the Corvette Forum
2--open another Internet Explorer window (keep the reply window open)
3--go to http://tinypic.com/
4--hit "browse" and you can search your computer files for a photo
5--hit "host picture" and wait for it to give you 4 options
6--click on the "img" line and make sure that the whole line is selected, and hold down "ctrl" then hit "c" at the same time [in order to Copy the line]
7--in the body of your message where you want to insert your photo, hold down "ctrl" then "v" [in order to Paste the line].
I liked tinypic.com because they will auto resize larger photos and it is free. Good Luck!
I see it worked! Good advice adrenaline. I didn't know they'd quite that big. I could have resized them before posting. Next time.......
I don't use those IROC wheels. They were just on for some service I was doing.
