engine identification help
Ran across a 58 with F3250S stamping on the engine. Was unable to get any other #'s except the VIN and this doesn't match. The car has fuel injection emblems. I know NOTHING of these C1's. Can anybody tell me about this engine?? Thanks

The VIN derivitive wasn't stamped on the pad till mid 1960, so you won't find one there.
Also...1957--1958 ish....when they stamped the date, they didn't use the more common configuration of 0325 (March 25) they used 325 for March 25.
SO....check the last 2 digits as Seaside says. Chuck
