Wow. This is one helluva project car. I can easily see spending $25 - 30k just to make it presentable. My '64 ebay refugee was purchased for $17k and I popped another $13k to make her into what she is today.....a very fine driver. Did that with a lot of help too. The body, drive train, and paint were also in good condition to begin with. I'd pass on that "project" for sure.

Not for $15K....work no more then $8K the condition its in. Most of the rust looks like it could be surface on the suspension....but the frame is what would bother me....

Good car to make a cruiser,,, put a 502, or how about the 572...side pipes, heavy duty suspension, baer brakes, Dewitt cooling, new dash, and new interior, with some new paint, bonding strips and then you got yourself a good vette.

I can't see this one, it's just a shell and nothing special about it. Body is a best pieced together, frame is rusty, the cost to restore will be in excess of what one could buy a restored car or restore a much better car by spending a little more to start with.

If your going to buy this car. Drop a 572 crate motor in it and put in on the strip. Otherwise your just wasting your money for that price.

Oh no, i am not going to buy this car. I was just surprised at the buy it now price. I have been looking for a good 65 or 66 coupe or convertible body to do a conversion on so at first glance this looked good. Then i noticed that all the body panels are just sort of lying on top of one another-not good. this car would take forever to put back into shape. The glass work alone would take months. not to mention you will need to make a mold for the shifter area and poor a new piece of fiberglass or fabricate something out of metal. Plus the expense of all the missing parts would easily add up to 10K, paint-6-8K, engine and trans-8-12K, etc etc. Ok, i have too much time thanks to hurricane dennis knocking out my power at my business.

$7000.00 maybe.
I recently picked up a running, driving 66 convt. that needed brakes and TLC with a wrong motor for $10.000 That DITR nees way to much work for that kind of money.

Nice $1,500 car to take to the local vocational technical school body shop so that the kids can learn how to repair a fiberglass bodied car and put some paint on it.

Then you can put it on an SRIII chassis and have some fun in a financially feasible manor.

The expression "what are you nuts?" comes to mind when I see something like that.

My 63 is not quite finished yet. I wonder if the seller would pay me $150,00 for it as it is in at least ten times the condition of the one he is attempting to sell?

I'll bet not even the birdcage is any good on this heap.

It's apparently been stripped of every viable part that could be peddled on ebay and now the guy wants to call it a "car".

I guess it does at least have a vin tag and trim tag. Those ought to be worth about $500 to somebody....

Wait til you find out it is the FIRST production 427/425 car built & ordered by no less than a former president. Pro Team has the last one built so you can rule that one out. A good story and hours of free labor will make this old chariot a fire breather once again. Bet the next owner won't be looking for the CORRECT ncrs fuel filter. My kinda guy.

Only 8 days left! Get her while you can!!!!!!!

All kidding aside, as said above, she would be a great project car to do whatever with. It will be interesting to watch this one to the end.

First Gear! Not to make you feel bad but my 65 coupe that I'm building was bought from an 82 year old man who's son bought it new.
It sat covered in a heated garage since 1988 after his son suffered a stroke. $12000.00 The Corvette Gods were looking over me on this one

I admire the guy for giving an honest description. Usually those ads start out "This was a very rare big block car"
