c1 registry
I used to go to the Netherlands frequently on business, and every once in a while you'd see an American muscle car of some kind, or a Vette. They weren't totally rare, but they stood out, if for no other reason than "V-8 rumble" not being the normal car sound over there. (And with gas prices being at $4 plus a gallon, they cost a lot to operate.)
It's a pretty fun place to drive - although they have speed limits on the highways, a lot of them are set at 130 km/h, if I remember right (about 80 mph). But, traffic can be bad during rush-hours, etc. One interesting thing they have is canal overpasses - places where a canal actually goes over the road. It is disconcerting to see a boat passing over you!
Met vriendlijke groetjes (I may have botched the spelling, but this is more or less Dutch for "with friendly regards")

Maybe the Dutch government has a more liberal open records act, to allow access to this info. Nonetheless, I think its great that these guys spend so much time keeping the C1Registry and 59 Registry up and running, and my hats off to people who contribute info, as well. It would be nice to have an accurate count of how many Vettes in a given year remain.
