Looking for Engine
Does anyone know a good company that sells engines that will work with a 58'? More specifically I am looking for a 450 Big Block, although I am having trouble tracking one down.
And does anyone also know if you can get dual-intake / dual-exhaust on a 450 big block, I don't see why not - but I thought I'd check.

It has been done before, however. It's mostly a matter of what your goal is, and how much you can spend towards it. If you're simply looking for a high-torque, you might want to spend your money on an LS engine or one of the 400+ ci small-block engines.
Regardless of which way you go, keep us informed. We love watching cars coming together.

looking for low end torque?
A zz383 will fit in easy with the vortec preformer manifold.. and drop base.. it has great low end and will be about 405hp and 450 ft lbs..
