Hi!

I have a pair of Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads for my next engine, and want to know whether the exhaust ports match my 2.5 inch rams horn manifolds. The engine will be a "stealth" 406 sb with factory appearing intake and exhaust manifolds (heads will be painted to keep factory look). Does anyone know if there's some grinding needed to match the ports?

Since you have the heads and exhaust manifolds, can you use a gasket to trace the ports onto? I used this method when fitting my 2.5" ram's horns on L-98 D-port heads. I had to take a dangerous amount of material on the bottom of the ram's horn, but there has not been a problem with leaks. The ports on the D heads are higher than stock.

Thanks for the tip, I'll use the gasket trick.
