Default Engine Decode Help Please

I have searched the forum and found some information on an engine that I have but I would like to see if anyone can help decode the numbers a little further.

Block Casting # 3999289 (454 1972 4 bolt main)
Engine Stamp #s = T0615XCH; I am confused at the XCH, can any one help?

Heads I have are 6272990 which are service replacement rectangular port heads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Scott

according to the Corvette Black Book - XCH is not a suffix code for a corvette motor. Sorry, I could be wrong in reading this.

Most 'X' series engine codes are truck engines, never seen one with three letters though
