Default Inverted Flare fittings?

I'm replumbing the fuel line in my '58 and need to find a source for inverted flare fittings of various sizes. I've tried Autozone and Kragen, both of which have a pitiful supply. OSH appears to have none whatsoever.

What kind of store am I likely to find stocking a broad range of inverted flare fittings? Any specific stores in the SF Bay area that are really good for this kind of thing?

Thanks,
-Brian

Inverted flare, what is it and why do you need it?

regular pre flared gas line is available in an array of lengths at a good parts store like Napa. There is also the Corvette clinic in San Jose that sells early Vette parts. I have bought from them in the past. I can not remember what street, but they usually had what I needed.

As I've been discovering, normal flare fitting have the female fitting is attached to the tubing, and the male is part of the hardware. For some reason that escapes me, the fuel line fittings that I've been running into are the reverse, with a male nut on the pipe, and female hardware.

I've got a replacement fuel line in hand from Zip, but it turns out my fuel pump is not correct, and doesn't have the ports in the correct location to engage the pipe. I doubt I'll be able to find a proper replacement part from a vendor.

Any decent auto parts store that carries Weatherhead fittings will have it - if Weatherhead doesn't make it, you don't need it.

Royal Brass in San Jose also carries Parker Hannifin fittings, and they had exactly what I needed. Thanks!
