Default We're special

I just drove to Texas and back (from Wisconsin). My five year old son and I were counting Vettes and we stopped counting at 135! And that was in the first 4 days only (trip lasted 10 days). Here's how it broke down:

0 C1's
1 C2
2 C3's
15 C4's
111 C5's
6 C6's

It feels so good to drive a car that is unique!

Unfortunately nobody waved. I was driving my Explorer. The vette would have been brutal on such a long trip (suspension....)

IMO with orthopedic seats, you don't care about stiff suspension.

C'mon! I drove my Grand Sport from Chicago, IL to Bowling Green KY and back with only 350 miles on it before I left. I put 1000 miles on it that weekend.

Although I must admit, it was at times just a tad brutal when the roads were bumpy.

wow... only 15 C4s??? Oh yeah - the early ones are now being judged - guess it's time to start storing them away forever.

Last Saturday I saw a new C2 (to me) at a local gas station and then a mystery C2 driving down my street (see that guy all the time). They're out there and I see them a whole lot more than other 63-67 muscle cars.

I've seen pictures of your Grand Sport - I bet it rides nicer than my C2 - no fair!

Dave,

What are orthopaedic seats?

I've got my shocks dialed in pretty stiff - some of the roads were absolutely terrible for miles and miles - even uncomfortable in my Explorer. I remember driving to Bowling Green in my C4 - even it was crazy rough through IL and IN.

I'd love to do it though. I don't think my wife, son and 112 lb. German Shepherd would fit....

If there is a cruise in within a few hundred miles of Milwaukee- I'LL DO IT!!!!
