How often are you planning on driving it with the hard top on?
Will you be taking the soft top out and storing it?

I used to put the hard top on my 67, but stopped when I realized I wasn't driving it in winter. Plus, the soft top will work just as well.

But do what you like

I feel strongly in both respects. I have no opinion and remain unafiliated.

Just put the black '67 vinyl top on my 64 silver-blue vette. Thought I'd post another example of a vinyl top.

I do like how the black vinyl looks on the car instead of the same paint color and it does match the black soft top. I guess it all depends on personal preference and how original you want to keep the car.

I don't know, magr64vette, that car's all kinds of different.

Headrest seats, vinyl hardtop, '67 Rally wheels. I mean, my God man, where will this madness lead?

Seaside63, This thread is asking for pictures of vinyl tops and/or other suggestions, didn't know I would be defending my car if I posted a picture. Anyway, I still have the original seats, these are more comfortable and I put about 4000 miles on it every year. I don't hesitate to drive it on 1000+ mile trips. Enough of my minor rant.
Happy motoring and keep the wave alive!!!!!

Default does anyone have a hard top for sale?

Since reading this thread I was wondering what a Hard top should cost? I assume that there is not any differences from year to year in a Mid Year but I dont know 100%. Any of you want to part with your unused hard top? It seems that many of you have them sitting around.

Hi Magr64vette,

I noticed the head rests in your pic. They do not appear to be the 66 or 67 type with the single post in the middle. I would be interested to know how you did that or are your seats non-vette? Looks good and I want to put headrests in my '65.

Top looks great!

Sorry guys I'm on the road and haven't had time to post back. Thanks for all the opinions. I'm still undecided. I guess I'm going to search for some white midyears with hardtops to get a better idea of what I want.. I really like the hardtop look and just have to make this decision so I can get it on the car... Dave..

Dave, I need to get you by my dad's sometime soon. We have some pictures there of that white 64 we had, with the white hardtop on it. I like the look of the white on white.

I prefer the hardtop to be the colour of the body....On some C1's a hardtop that matches the colour of the cove looks great....
