I've installed new rubber on windshield but can't get the lower frame and stainless trim on. I've used silicone spray but still no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
Don; I've done this job several times and last time wrote a narrative on the procedure. If you give me your e-mail address I'll e-mail it to you. I also took many pictures so if that would be of any help let me know.

Can I get a copy as well? I'll send my email via PM.
It is a chore but you will be able to get it done. The hardest part I had was making sure the glass was centered. Do not be scared to beat the crap out of it with a rubber hammer, it will go. If we lived closer, you know I would be there to help. The parts you sold me helped me out.
I do not know how many people here on the forum know Don but he is a stand up guy building a super nice car.
Don it would be great if you could share some pics here. I have a feeling many of the C1 guys would like to see your front end work and your engine work...
Here is the link to the pictures of the windshield installation narrative I sent the members who requested it. Hope it is of assistance to you all. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to pm or e-mail me. http://oldbull.zoto.com/galleries/windshield
I recently did my windshield on my '62 and had a heck of a time installing the lower channel/SS trim. I managed to do it, but it was not easy.
Do you think you could put your narrative (or an abbreviated form of it) in a post on the Forum so folks in the future could find it and not bother you for a email?
