Default Headlight motor current?

I have the headlight motors from my 66 out for a cleanup and would like to power them from my bench power supply. Any idea how much current they should be drawing?

I can't find the specs in my CSM.

Take a look at the circuit breaker behind the drivers kick panel. Wired with 12 ga wire powers two motors so divide breaker capacity by two.

I'm betting on 30 amp.

Run your motors in both directions for 4-5 minutes each to free up the shaft bushings. They will get rather warm.

Ditch the cupped washer and flat washer on end of output gear opposite the nylon washer. Sub a 1/2" wave lock washer and an 1/2" 18 ga. flat washer for less end load and reduce drag by 20 in-lb. Parts available at Ace hardware.
