Need advice or photo of installed trans. I did not take car apart. I have looked in the published sources for how it goes togeather but have not found what I need.
I installed the linkage no problem, but can't figure out how, reverse hdwe mounts, mounting bracket, switch shield, rod, and switch itself.
Car is off body restoration and is ready to have body placed on.
Trying to get every thing that might be more difficult done before.
Thank you in advance I want to drive this winter.

Hey thanks, the photo is great. I reconized the parts. I see the mounting bracket and the reverse switch shield, and a little bit of the rod I'll figure how they work. I did go to the thread but could not come up with what I needed. Thank you again.

All the detail on the switch, bracket, bolts, actuating rod, clips, etc. is in the Z01 Section of the '65 Assembly Manual (backup lights were part of the Z01 Convenience package).
Larry and John, thank you both very much.
John never looked at the last page. copy sucks but as I studied it, right on.
Larry I finally reconized the inspection plate as to the mounting point from the photo, and then looked at the reverse linkage and spotted the hole for the rod.
I'm real good with your all help.

Not to beat this to death, but just go my new ZIP catalog. See page 77, their it is big as life, how the back up switch mounts and clear you can see it.
