Default Kelsey Hayes Wheels - How to recognize?

What at the primary ways to differentiate K-H wheels from repros? (For knock offs AND bolt-ons please) Thanks.

on or off the car. if they are off the car K-H will me stamped on the back of the wheel for a real one. if it is a repo it should say "western wheel". if they are on the car it has to do with the fine lines in the designs.

Real KO's will have the K-H and D-49985 cast into the back side, and will NOT have "Western Wheel" cast-in:

And real K-H bolt-ons have these sixteen stiffening ribs cast-in on the back and will NOT have "Western Wheel" cast-in:

I was wondering if my wheels were original, and by looking at the above picture I realize they are. The one I removed to check also has what must be a date stamp that looks like B6 28 65.

What would a set of four of these that need to be restored be worth??

From what I can piece together, for 63-66 knock-offs the going rate seems to be about $1500 per wheel. 67 Bolt-ons are a bit more expensive at about $2500 per wheel. These prices are for original sets only.

thanks for the quick reply
the wheels in question have been on the car for over 30 years now.
so I guess when I pick up the car I will Jude look at the back side of the wheel
i only have pictures of the whole car so the wheels are not close up
and if I blow up the photo it gets blurry
can I text you a photo for your opinion?

Remove a KO and it will be obvious if repro or real. The real adapters have D-49989 inside, the real spinners do not say Taiwan and have one ear showing cast 230LH or 229RH among other telltale signs. The wheels will have cast numbers K-H and D-49985 see photo, other areas of the backside of the wheel will have date codes. Post photos here of what you have and you will get plenty of answers.
