Default Shocking

Sometimes when I honk my horn on my '61 vette, I get shocked. What is the problem?

Thanks, Norm

Electricity takes the easiest path to ground. You must be a well grounded individual! Or else your steering column / horn button ground isn't.

The horn button's path to ground is through the upper steering shaft bearing to the shaft; if contact isn't good between the I.D. of the bearing and the O.D. of the shaft, it'll ground through you instead.
