TV Alert: Tonight 11/23 Hot Rods To Hell
Seldom on TV. This movie has a solid axle Corvette (can't remember what year) the movie was made in 1967 with Dana Andrews (one of my favorite old time actors) about some hot rod kids making trouble for a family. Cool scenes of the Vette.

Classic bad boy hot rod movie. Renegade children out in their hot rods making trouble for all of the "nuclear families" of the day. (Big cowards in the end)
Will try to find on *** Cable in VA.

Oh Yeah!
I remember seeing it when it came out on TV. It was one of the seeds planted in my impressionable mind that led me to a life of craving a Hot Rod straight axle. I saw pieces of it a few years ago and thought, what a cheezy movie!

A definite must see for any car guy. It is so bad you will laugh your butt off when you watch it. The poor old 58 gets beat pretty hard, and by the middle of the movie it is smoking so bad out of the left tailpipe that you can hardly see the car.

We don't have cable out here in the sticks! Any chance someone taped the show "Hot Rod's From Hell"? I would love to buy a copy from one of the members here.
I seen that show when I was about 10 yrs. old, loved old corvetts ever since. I have got to have a copy of that movie! Please help bring alive an old memory.

You just joined the wrong service. I was in the Seabees, our camp was just below Freedom Hill in DaNAng, on the opposite side of the airfield from China Beach. We had our own outdoor movie theater, SEA huts, showers, steak and lobster for Sunday lunch, all the comforts of home until the ammo dump went up and flattened our camp. Ah, the good old days!
