F25= jan 65?
Style 19-437 A-1495 Body =19-437 is a coupe/ built by A.O. Smith and I think it is the 1495 is the body number?
Trim 420-A G-G Paint =Saddle vinyl/ Glen Green paint.

Vin 194375S108303 =1965 chevy built coupe finnal assembly plant St. louis it is the 8,303 car made

Engine Block has:

5108303 on the right pad the 5 should an "S" and it matches the Vin so you have a nukmbers matching car
also OI26HF HF=327Ci,300Hp with a manual trany.

Cast number at the rear is 3782870 is the right block for you car for a 327.

this all came form the black book, and I hope this helps

The VIN derivative stamp on the front pad starts with a "5" (for 1965), not an "S".

Default Another number and question

Kel,

Besides the HF stamped on the pad meaning 300hp, the rest of the "OI26HF" means the final assembly date of your engine was January 26. You probably have an "F" in front of all that which stands for Flint.

Also the "F25" you originally mentioned stands for January 25, 1965 which was the date AO-Smith made your body.

The other number I would be curious about on your car is the casting block date code which is located right behind the head on the passenger side. Is should be something like "A 15 5" which would mean your block was cast on January 15 of 1965. The reason I ask is because my car was "close" to yours and the final date of my engine was January 22, 1965. I am curious to see how close your block date code and engine assembly dates are. Could you post that number as well?

Thanks!

I can read a 7 5 but not what is front of it.

Should it be an A for the build date of this car? The cast of that letter is really rough and with the limited clearance between the engine and the firewall it's hard to see it clearly.

Can anyone tell me what shade of green Glen Green is?

The car is currently painted a butter nut yellow color (did they refer to this as Goldenwood Yellow in 65?).

Thanks,
