Folks,
I've got a stupid question. (one of many...) Where are the tech articals I hear about? I see C3, C4, C5 and so on with a tech forum, but none for C2?
I know Lars, John and others provide some great information and other then doing an advanced search, how do I get to these articles?
Click on the dwon arrow next to the "Other" menu on the bar above. Then click on the arrow next to "Tech Tips". Go to the C3 section. You will find many of Lars and other articles in there. Much of what applies to the C3 applies to the C1 and 2. Especially the Small Block Chevy articles.
besides the previous post, I have a number of tech articles on my website that most are dedicated towards the C2. They include a number of articles by JohnZ, Lars, and others.
I add others as I acquire them and am allowed to post them up for hosting.
Shameless plug . I've authored 62 full C1/C2 photo-illustrated technical articles and single-subject technical columns over the past 31 months focused on things you can do yourself at home without expensive special tools as Vintage Technical Editor of "Corvette Enthusiast" magazine; you won't find that level of C1/C2 coverage in the "other" magazines.

I've been a subscriber for around a year or so but is there any way to get the previous ones other than through past issues?
Sorry, didn't see the reference to the CD above at NCRS...Thanks.
During this week we will upload various tech articles to the C2 registry, which some owners have collected in the recent years. If you have more available then send it to Rob and me so that we can keep one central technical database for you all!!
As far as I know, the only way is to order back issues (800-448-3611).
Thanks, John. Is there a reference anywhere that lists the topics you've covered over the 31 months or is it hunt and peck? Great articles, extremely helpful and well written. Even I understand them...
Here's the chronological listing of Technical Articles and "Tech Bench" columns I've written and the issue they appeared in since I started as Vintage Technical Editor of the new magazine 2-1/2 years ago; #23 on the first page (cut off by the scan) is "Crankcase Ventilation and PCV 101".
John, your insight and help is always appreciated as you are concise, to the point and clear in your explination.
Having sufficiently buttered you up, how about a special issue of Corvette Enthusiast containing all of your articles? If it is produced, put me first in line for a copy.
TTT..just wanted to get in here so I could keep this thread easy to reach. Like the refs to the tech articles.
Maybe, JohnZ, a specialty book could come out of this? Sorry, it's just my Journalism degree rearing it's publishing side.
However, 95% of the advertising revenue is from companies that provide C4-5-6 parts and services - that's publishing reality!
unfortunately I find that not surprising in the least.
Obviously you know I was only joking (well, mostly joking )
I do like Dennis's idea though John. You should take all your articles and publish a book.
If no where else, you could probably sell it thru NCRS and the Corvette parts suppliers - they sell all kinds of books and publications as you know.
