Took delivery two weeks ago of my first Vette. 65' 327/365 HP Coupe, Rally Red, black interior and of course, side pipes.
58,000 original miles on it and a survivor car. Absolutely love it. These mid years have always been my favorite. The car is as subtle as a wrecking ball. Just the sound at a stop light is worth it's weight in gold.
I'm also into offshore boats, but this will quickly become an "equal" hobby. The continuing perpetuation of my childhood.....

NICE - lots of great, knowledgeable folks here, and many owners of 64s and 65s with that L76 engine, myself included
Matter of fact, my 65 (55k original miles, L76 with sidepipes) is not too far away from the solid gold experince you described!
Soon as I can figure out how to post pix, I'll do so. This Forum is set up a bit differently than OSO, my home away from home. I do have a question with an issue I'm having but I'll start a new thread with it.
Welcome to the Forum!
Sounds like a nice car- but let's see some pics!

How do I do that in this forum??? I see some of you have "my corvette photos" listed, how do I do that. In the other Forum I live in I can just add attachments in any post but doesn't seem to be the case here.

Thanks guys for the welcome. Just got back online after moving into my new digs. Wife and I are splitting up and she is heading for NC while I'm staying in Florida.
Yes, I own a Formula. I may know your friend by a screen name on OSO (OffshoreOnly.com). I'm one of the bigger posters there.
