The suspension on my ‘64 convertible is in need of work. As I was looking around for a "restoration kits" I came across the Max Performance Suspension Package from Eckler's.
That kit is produced by Vette Brakes and Products. I thought they were a site sponser but I do not see a link on the side. This is their web site http://www.vbandp.com/. I am pretty sure there are a few guys on the forum using that setup. Hang on and they will check in.
OK, I'll check in. I have several of those pieces on my '66 coupe. I put on the complete front suspension -- the monoleaf composite front spring and the upper and lower A arms. I like it because the ride height is adjustable and there is some adjustment to the spring stiffness. I don't know how much because I set it up at almost full-stiff and left it there. In the rear I have only the crossmember reinforcement kit and the poly diff bushings, so I can't comment on their rear monoleaf spring configuration.
Without a doubt, the closest you will ever come to have real sports car handling on your 63 to 67 Corvette. Not only has the height adjustment become a 15 minute thing, but a different ride firmness can be selected with a total of four ( 4 ) different settings. Add a set of performance wheels and tires to this package, and you will see what driving a late model Corvette feels like.
VERY HIGHLY recommended. If you are seriously looking into a purchase, you can log onto the " other Forum " and get an additional 10% off the Ecklers " advertised retail pricing, direct from " VBP" the manufacturer.

Sounds like you have experience with this product. Have you ever used or installed one?
I am new to this forum thing (first time I ever did a post), can you tell me who the "Other Forum" is?
Also, I am blown away by the number of participants in this forum and the depth of their knowledge and experience. Any suggestions on how I might get responses from others using this product? I am very serious about purchasing it, but would like to hear their opinions rather then just relying on the manufacturers sales pitch.
