Check out item #421 on the barrett-jackson.com web site, just exactly is it?
Looks just like a car Garner and I saw hear in Eastern NC recently. It's multi year midyear. I think the description is interesting in that it specifically spells out that it has "manual headlights"
This impressive, non-matching number, Corvette is an example of a well-sorted classic Corvette that is ready for non-stop fun. With a 350cid small block, four-speed transmission, leather seats, rally wheels with white wall tires, and a crisp white soft top, all the ingredients are here for a first-time Corvette buyer or the enthusiast who wants to use their Corvette as the spine-tingling, head-turning sports car is was meant to be. This Roadster has manual, not electrical headlights and somewhere along the line was titled by the DMV as a 1963, not a '65. Titled as a 1963 Corvette with the appearance of a 1965.

The British would refer to that as a "bitsa", i.e. made up of bits of this and bits of that. My old '64 occasionally had the "manual headlights" that are apparently full time on this car. Could be a fun car at the right price. Easy to buy parts for.
many many 65 are seen with 66-67 grilles, not long after 65 the only grill available from GM as a service part for the 65 was the 66 grille, and (mine came to me with one too).
My dad had a 1970 Opel GT when I was growing up (am still growing up) and it had "manual" headlights - big lever in the center console that, when pulled backwards (as I recall) the headlights would turn over. Maybe they took a page from that car's playbook . . .
well, if it was this car or a Corvette replica car I would go for this one, the 63 title would be a problem for any future "back to correct" resto plans though . . .
