Tr Bolts

Anyone have a good, less expensive, source for getting these bolts other than paying for four at a time in a kit?

TR head marked bolts. stabilizer U bracket. Alternator, control arm, A frame,,rear end,transmission,water pump outlet,,hood lock also selt belt.which four do you need ??

I have drank to many beers to have a memory.Years ago paragon used to show all headmarked bolts and there uses in the back of there catalog. I cut it out and saved it. Comes in handy

Bolts Needed

I need 8 TR bolts for the lower inner A-arms at $28 per set, so $56 8 bolts nuts and lock washers. Seems like a deal right? Then I need 2 for the upper outer A-arms. I already bought the cross member set for I can't remember how much.

I also pretty much need every other TR bolt that goes in the car. Thats why I was hoping someone had a lead on a little better pricing.

I pay $5.00 for a large coffee can full from my friendly wrecking yard. Any similar vintage GM product will have most of them.

I agree with Bill. A trip to a wrecking yard can yeld lots of the old bolts that came on Corvettes. Just look for any GM cars in the era your car is in. Plus lots of other small parts (coils, delco wipers, fans, flashers, lighters, etc)
