WOW, I've never seen one on a C2 before. Who made it and did you
find it helped traction when drag racing ?

drives61: I was having wheel hop at the end of 1st gear so it helped stop that.

crazyhorse: found it at a swop meet for $50 so i dont know who made it but it was home made and fit great and it did help on the traction I have not had it at the track yet but I can tell the differents on the street ( now I do not race on the street but I can tell HEHEHE).

I have a similar "Lift Bar" from SouthSide Machines. I can't say that it did much in the way of improving traction, but it does reduce wheel hop. I think anything to more rigidly secure the differential is of benefit, particularly with a high torque engine.

I haven't recently seen the SSM Lift Bar advertised for C-2 & C-3 Corvettes, however I believe they are still available.
