Windshield Clips
I bought a set of windshield clips at Carlisle and when I took the old clips off they looked just like the new clips.
Now jumping ahead a bit (which I won't go into now) I purchased another set of clips from LIC and got them in yesterday. This new set of clips look different. They are bent (rounded) down at the open end instead of bent up like the ones that were installed when I got the car and the set I bought at Carlisle. These also have a small rubber washer around the screw hole. Does anyone know if this is a new thing or if the original ones in 65 had them and the ones in my car and the set I got at Carlisle were not the correct set.

I was mounting the new set today and noticed something else. The vendor at Carlisle gave me 24 small clips and 2 corner clips in the package and that's what I needed to replace the old clips.
The new set from LIC only had 23 small clips and 2 corner clips (and that's what was listed on the package) so I ended up using one of the ones I got at Carlisle for the 24th one. How many are required. Did Bubba add an extra hole or did the LIC kit have one short.
