I recall seeing a few comments about this guy on the forum before and they stated he never sells anything. Well I think those who have tried are correct. I contacted him to try to purchase some items and he told me that they are not for sale. This is the same response other have got as I recall.
I really question if he even has anything to sell ???
I could set up a web site and list many items that I know everyone might be interested in and even add pictures as he has done and not actually have anything.
Has anyone ever bought anything from this guy, I am just curious.

bought an intake manifold from Chris a few years back, he did as he said he would (helicoiled one funky stud hole) and it was otherwise as he represented. I almost think he might be a member here?

Dontov,

Thanks for the link...makes me glad he told me the item I was interested in was not for sale. I am from the old school where I like to touch what I buy but today that is not always the way things have to be. Today you have to rely on TRUST...That is why it is always good to hear if others have experience with individuals selling items.
Thanks again, John

I called the guy a couple months back, it was a complete waste of time. I wanted to buy 2 or 3 items on his website and he also told me that they were no longer for sale. I told him that he might want to update his website and he said yeah I need to get that stuff off there. Well last I checked its all still listed.

No problem. Never like to see anyone get taken. I've found myself on the short end of the stick a few times and didn't much care for it.

I would like to point out that I have no experience with the guy. I just posted a link to what I read.

Ahhhh, grandma told me if I didn't have anything nice to say about someone to keep my mouth shut then. But as an FYI, here's this experience I had with Chris at Corvettejunk.com:

Islander21,

I read the "Bad Karma" thread and learn quite a good lesson...Thanks for sharing this information.

I try to be careful when purchasing items but have been taken a few times as most of us have. I just wish to avoid this as much as possible in the future. I have been looking at responses from many of the forum members and have been using vendors how you have had positive experiences with only. So far all has been very good. I appreciate this information as well and know I will not plan on purchasing anything from Corvette Junk for obvious reasons. I hope you got you situation squared away...
Thanks again...

Kind of a hijack here, but as long as we're talking about vendors...Arthur Gould Rebuilders is very easy to deal with and does excellent work on water pumps. He was responsive to my after purchase questions and even refunded shipping due to a slight problem which was quickly corrected. Refund of shipping was unexpected as I never asked him for it! Spoke to a couple of his guys and found them to be real gentlemen. He advertises for fuel pumps as well.

I bought an intake manifold and valve covers from Corvette Junk - both were fine.

I bought a block and bellhousing from corvettejunk for my 60 a few months back. The items were well descibed with a cheap price. The shipping was smooth with a block pallet provided and great packaging. All in all one of the best deals I've had restoring my corvette.
